She sews

Pillow

Yesterday was one of those ‘so tired I could actually maybe die’ days.  Could have had something to do with the brain-drain of a night before, the incredibly late night and the early morning following.  After (finally) finding something to keep my three year old happy and entertained, I decided to get the lead out and just be productive already.  I wouldn’t be able to keep this blog if I ceased making, right? So, with my icy cup of green tea in hand, I began the simple yet time consuming task of sewing a pillowcase set.  The whole process was pretty straightforward (and I’ll post a tutorial soon), but with the constant toddler interruptions and longing to just curl up on the beanbag and sleep (which I did, once they were sewn), it took a while to get on a roll. Stumped.

Heart artwork on wood stump

My Mister is incredibly talented and while I am expected to think that ALL the time, I actually mean it in this case.  He has a knack for seeing something in his mind and then making it exist.  In real life.  It amazes me, as I can’t even seem to translate pretty handwriting onto paper, but I guess we all have our thing. Recently, my father-in-law cut down an enormous tree from the backyard and Clint was all to quick to eagerly ask for some cuttings to be saved for him.  This is what he has done with one of them. If you want to see more of his stupidly good work, you can head on over to his website HERE or go straight to his online portfolio on Bēhance, HERE.  Cool. Follow my blog with Bloglovin
